Presentation Overview

The presentation will discuss a case study in which a heterogeneous fluvial reservoir was modelled in order to streamline and de-risk the appraisal process in an oil and gas field in Central Oman. 

 

Biography

Muthanna Al Mughairycompleted his BSc. degree at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities (Earth Sciences) and subsequently completed his MSc. degree at Sultan Qaboos University in Oman (Petroleum Geosciences). Since then, he has been working as an operations and development geologist at Petroleum Development Oman, which is the largest E&P (Exploration and Production) company in the country.
