Great PFAS Expectations: A Conversation about Regulations, Technology Capabilities, Cross-Sector Implications and Lifecycle Approaches

Presented by Rebecca A. Higgins, PG, AECOM

Presentation Overview

This conversation will cover high-level issues related to PFAS entry points into various regulatory auspices, including cross-programmatic concerns. From pollution prevention to permitting and Superfund remediation, the discussion will cover the variety of areas where PFAS concerns may impact both public and private entities and facilities. Within the changing space of cooperative federalism, focus will be provided on the lifecycle approach to managing PFAS concerns for public and private entities alike. Whether managing risk communications with decision makers or on-boarding PFAS concerns into active remediation sites, we will take a comprehensive look at setting expectations and educating across scientific, regulatory and business disciplines. Takeaways will show how cross-disciplinary teams are providing near- and long-term PFAS solutions.
