Registration is open for the MN Section of AIPG's 17th annual Education Committee golf scramble and bicycle ride fundraiser on Monday, July 27, 2026!
This year's fundraiser will again be based at the award-winning Stillwater Country Club!

Event Timeline for Monday, July 27, 2026

  • 10:30 AM - Registration begins at the Stillwater Country Club patio for golfers and bicycle riders. Please drop off your silent auction items at this time.
  • 10:30 AM - 11:50 AM - Practice range open (cart rides to the practice range available upon request and range balls are included). Club rental is available for a fee at the Stillwater Country Club Pro Shop.
  • 11:45 AM - Deadline for golfers to pick up their boxed lunch* from the clubhouse. *Boxed lunches will consist of sliced turkey or ham with cheese on a fresh roll, potato salad, chips, and a cookie (dietary needs can be noted in the registration with the guest name or emailed to the webmasters at [email protected]).
  • 11:50 AM - Welcome remarks and golf tournament rules overview.
  • 12:00 PM - Golf tournament begins (shotgun start). Bike riders can continue to enjoy their boxed lunch* at the clubhouse. *Boxed lunches will consist of sliced turkey or ham with cheese on a fresh roll, potato salad, chips, and a cookie (dietary needs can be noted in the registration with the guest name or emailed to the webmasters at [email protected]).
  • 1:00 PM - Start of the bicycle ride from the parking lot of the Stillwater Country Club.  
  • 4:30 PM - Dinner buffet, silent auction, and cash bar open. Dinner buffet to be determined later (dietary needs can be noted in the registration with the guest name, or emailed to the webmasters at [email protected]).
  • 5:30 PM - Awards, door prizes, and live auction.
  • 6:00 PM - End of silent auction. Please pay for your silent auction items if won.

  • Single Dinner (non-golfer, non-bicycle rider), $40
  • 1 person with dinner buffet and auction admission included.


Scenic Bicycle Ride Option (Back For The 5th Year)

  • Single Bicycle Rider, $65
  • 1 bicycle rider and boxed lunch, dinner buffet, and auction admission included.
  • Join us for a scenic bicycle ride around Stillwater lead by our super bike-enthusiast Mike Torres. Lunch can be enjoyed at the Stillwater Country Club clubhouse before the bicycle ride begins. The bicycle ride will depart at 1pm from the Stillwater Country Club parking lot. Mike expects the ride to take 2-3 hours at a leisurely pace and a few photo opportunities.
  • App-based bicycle rentals are available in downtown Stillwater. Please make arrangements prior to the bicycle ride.
  • There is no cost for the bike tour, just the boxed lunch and dinner buffet.

Team Prizes

For golfers, three Team Prizes will be awarded in total based on total scores per team organized into three different tiers. 


Raffle Prizes, Individual Golf Prizes, and Mulligans ($25 Entrance Fee Via Eagle Card Purchase)

Raffle Prizes (open to all guests), individual golf prizes for Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, and Longest Putt winners, and 2 mulligans (replay of golf stroke), are only possible with purchase of at least one Eagle Card! Each Eagle Card is $25 and allows the guest entrance into the raffle prizes, the golfer entrance into individual golf prizes, and the golfer 2 mulligans. Eagle Cards are available to golfers and non-golfers alike as they are the only way event attendees can receive entry into raffle prizes. Since this is a fundraising tournament there is no limit to the amount of Eagle Cards that can be purchased!


Fundraising Benefits The Education Committee Fund

Proceeds from this event are used exclusively for funding the MN Section of AIPG's Education Committee Fund, awarding annual Student Grants of $1,500 each, awarding FG exam registration grants of $300 each, and purchasing mineral hardness kits that are given to K-12 teachers at the annual Minnesota Mineral Education Workshop (MMEW). In addition, the MN Section of AIPG MN supports undergraduate geoscience majors by providing free registration to our monthly technical luncheons/webinars, see more on our Education Fund - Giving Back webpage.
