AIPG - 2026 Annual Conference - Duluth!

The 2026 AIPG National Conference will be held in Duluth from August 29 - September 1, 2026.

  • Sunday, August 30 - Field Trips & Social/Silent Auction for the Foundation of AIPG
  • Monday, August 31 - Technical Sessions, Field Trips, and Awards Banquet
  • Tuesday, September 1 - Technical Sessions & Field Trips
  • Wednesday, September 2 - Field Trips

The AIPG Minnesota Section invites abstract submissions for oral and poster presentations for the upcoming AIPG National Conference in Duluth: https://aipg.org/page/2026CallforAbstracts

  • We welcome a wide range of topics from geoscientists across Minnesota, Wisconsin, our colleagues throughout the United States, and beyond. Posters from students and professionals are encouraged, and student posters are eligible for monetary awards.
  • First-time speakers are welcome! Presentation support is available—just select the help option on the abstract form.

This year’s theme, “4 Billion Years Beneath Our Feet,” highlights technical sessions, field trips, and networking with geoscience leaders. Presenters and attendees can earn CEUs/PDHs.
