Presentation Title

Illuminating Controversial Artifacts with 3D Technology

by Scott Wolter and Jerry Lutgen

Presentation Overview

We will be presenting active case examples where we are examining mysterious stone artifacts by applying two types of digital 3D technologies ranging from the microscopic level up to large scale objects and surfaces. The artifacts and inscriptions we will showcase are the subjects of historical controversies for which important new evidence has been generated using these technologies.
